Gluten-Free Pizza Dough

1 ½ cups gluten-free flour blend, 1 tsp xanthan gum, 1 tsp baking powder, ½ tsp salt, 1 cup warm water, 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp honey or sugar, 1 packet (2¼ tsp) active dry yeast.

In a small bowl, combine warm water, honey, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.

In a large bowl, whisk together gluten-free flour blend, xanthan gum, baking powder, and salt.

Pour the yeast mixture and olive oil into the dry ingredients. Stir until combined.

Turn dough onto a floured surface. Knead for 1-2 minutes until smooth.

Place dough in a greased bowl. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise for 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Roll out dough on a floured surface to desired thickness.

Transfer dough to a pizza pan and pre-bake for 10 minutes.

Add your favorite toppings and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until crust is golden.
